Premium plans and billing
Privara Premium unlocks the full power of the app. Premium features include: unlimited albums (vs 3 free), unlimited contacts (vs 10 free), direct-to-vault camera, document import, iCloud Sync across devices, WiFi Transfer to your computer, and shared albums via CloudKit.
All core security features — encryption, dual vaults, break-in detection, calculator disguise, Escape PIN, and biometric unlock — are included free.
Premium is available in three tiers. The monthly plan is $4.99/month with no long-term commitment — cancel anytime. The yearly plan is $29.99/year, a significant saving over monthly billing.
The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase of $49.99 that gives you permanent access to all Premium features with no recurring charges. All plans include identical features — choose the one that fits your budget.
To subscribe, go to Settings and tap "Upgrade to Premium" in the About section, or tap any premium feature prompt throughout the app. The paywall shows all three plan options with a clear comparison.
Payment is processed securely through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We never see your payment card details.
If you've previously subscribed and need to restore your purchase — for example, after reinstalling the app or setting up a new device — open the paywall screen and tap "Restore Purchases."
This queries Apple's servers to verify your subscription status and reactivates Premium features automatically.
You can cancel a monthly or yearly subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings: go to Settings on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Privara. Tap Cancel Subscription to stop future billing.
After cancellation, you'll retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period. Your vault data and encryption remain intact — you just lose access to premium-only features. Lifetime plan holders never need to cancel — access is permanent.
