Customization

Privara offers over a dozen alternate app icons to help disguise the app on your home screen. Choose from vault-themed designs like Vault Dark, Sentinel, Signal, and Monogram, or disguise icons that make the app look like a file manager, calculator, video player, or other common app.

Change your icon at any time in Settings under App Icon. The change takes effect immediately on your home screen.

Set up a Siri Shortcut to open Privara with a custom voice command. For example, you can say "Open Calculator" to launch Privara, reinforcing the calculator disguise.

Configure your custom phrase in Settings under Siri Shortcut. The shortcut opens the app to the lock screen, so your vault remains secure.

Choose between two lock screen styles. The calculator disguise shows a fully functional calculator that doubles as your passcode entry. The standard lock screen shows a traditional numeric keypad with passcode dots.

Switch between styles in Settings. Both support all security features including dual passcodes, Escape PIN, and biometric unlock.

Switch between grid and list views for your gallery, albums, notes, documents, and contacts. Grid view shows thumbnail previews for quick visual browsing, while list view shows more detail per item.

Your view preference is remembered per section.

Mark any item as a favorite for quick access. Favorites appear with a heart icon and can be filtered to show only favorited content.

Privacy mode blurs all thumbnails in the gallery, preventing anyone nearby from seeing your content. Toggle it from the gallery toolbar when you need extra discretion in public.
