Contacts

Store private contacts securely within your vault. Each contact can include a name, phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, and a photo — all encrypted at rest.

Free users can store up to 10 contacts. Premium users get unlimited encrypted contacts.

Quickly import existing contacts from your Apple Contacts using the built-in contact picker. Select one or more contacts to import — Privara copies the contact data and any associated photos, encrypts everything, and stores it in your vault.

The original contacts in Apple Contacts are not modified or deleted.

Organize your encrypted contacts into groups for easy access. Create groups like "Work," "Family," or any custom category, then add contacts to one or more groups.

Groups appear as a filterable section in the contacts view, making it quick to find the right person.

From any contact detail view, you can quickly call a phone number, send an email, or copy contact information to your clipboard. These actions use the standard iOS URL schemes to open the Phone or Mail app.

This lets you use your encrypted contacts for communication without exposing them in your device's main contact list.

When privacy mode is enabled in the gallery, contact photos and names can be obscured to prevent shoulder surfing. This adds an extra layer of visual protection when browsing your contacts in public.

Toggle privacy mode on or off from the gallery toolbar.
